Address: No. 168號, Section 2, Dunhua South Road, Da’an District, Taipei City, Taiwan 106 This place serves authentic Northern Chinese cuisine- think dumplings, bing (chinese flatbread), and they are famous for their Peking duck. It’s carved tableside, with skill albeit a bit gruff/rude. Fat is rendered from the skin leaving it nice and crispy. The handmade…

Pretty looking coffees and toasts. Taste wise nothing pretty mediocre though. The sweet toast is way too sweet.

Half Moon Bay in the Fall and Winter time are Beautiful. Recommend going during November/December after crab season starts, and get a couple fresh crabs at the harbor.

Love it or Hate it- it’s a classic Taiwanese dish. Fermented Stinky tofu deep fried, with some pickled vegetables. The restaurant here has a good fermented flavor, one of the best I’ve had outside of Taiwan. Only downside is the price

Swordfish beautifully cooked in the wood fired oven. Fish was fresh and tender. Best thing of the night

Fries were pretty good- Thick-cut, seasoned fries loaded with bay scallops, lobster, crispy garlic shrimp, Thai chili aioli, and cheese sauce

$13.99 for the beef hot pot, comes with vermicelli or a bowl of rice. Flavor is not bad, a little pricey for what you get.

Koi Palace has some amazing food, one of the best Chinese restaurants in Northern California. Their Dim sum is really good as well, they actually make alot of their food vs buying frozen and just steaming. 5 Guys Xiao Long Bao: The left one is regular XLB with pork The green is with a Spinach…

Kirkjufell is where the White walkers where created in the scene with the children of the forest, and also where the Hound went in season 7 ep 6, where he sees the arrowhead mountain Different angle from this photo

Duck was amazing- other dishes not so much. Beautifully smoked, still juicy, and a nice duck with a lot of meat and not a lot of fat. A must order

Marinated in some Soysauce, fish sauce, lemon, garlic and Sriracha, then smoked on a Weber Kettle until perfect I’m conceited i’ll give myself 5 stars

10 piece is like $50 for lunch, 13 piece is like $80 They treat the Japanese people much better :\\

Steak pieces were tender, Scallops had a nice sear to them. A little bit oily overall

Salty skin

I found out i’m not a big fan of sea pineapple, but it’s a specialty of the Iwate area. It was fresh

Missing those oysters in Paris..

Food was ok for the price- reasonably priced. restaurant has some bad reviews- the service is subpar. Great view from the restaurant

$12, a bit expensive. Not bad, but cheaper and better in Osaka
